Sales & Business Development Manager – £35,000 – £40000 Per Annum Basic + Car + Unlimited Commission

We are a well-established Cheshire based Electronics Manufacturer focused in OEM / CEM Electronic product design with a current specialism towards the Automotive sector.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Business Development Manager to lead the new business development strategy for all aspects of the business. This is an excellent position for a confident Sales Person who now wishes to expand into a Business Development role within the Electronics Manufacturing Sector.

As Business development Manager you will have a positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.

The role will be field based, covering the entire UK and you will need to demonstrate a strong pro-active approach towards creating and growing new business and delivering consistent growth in sales by developing and implementing your own sales plans in order to achieve mutually agreed targets.

DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS

As the Business Development Manager, you will be solely responsible for finding & driving new sales into the business, with an aim to increase customer count and revenue year on year.

Oversee all sales and marketing activities to include ( but not limited to) arranging and attending customer visits and occasionally representing the company at UK trade exhibitions.

Launching and promoting new products, as well as expanding the customer base for our existing products                                                                                                

 Seek out new opportunities for the Design and Manufacturing side of the business

You will research and utilise your own leads through self-generated activities and research to identify new opportunities and contracts within both existing and new markets in order to develop a lucrative portfolio

Work directly with the Operations Director & Projects Manager in order to meet internal targets and deliver on customer expectations.

Develop effective long term relations with customers in order to contribute to the ongoing development of our business.

Any other duties and support as is reasonably required from this role

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Previous Experience in a Field Sales or Business Development Role

 A strong desire to expand the business development of products into the B2B sector

 A basic understanding of Electronic Manufacturing is desired (although not mandatory)

Able to demonstrate strong administration, organisation and communication skills.

Good PC Skills

A Proven and demonstrable track record within a Sales environment.

Have some understanding of manufacturing  processes

A strategic and lateral thinker who is highly focused on achieving agreed targets, self motivated and highly organised.

A confident negotiator with the ability to close a deal
